What are Statutory Visits?
A Statutory Visit relates to the visiting requirements of children to ascertain their safety and or offer support as part of a Child in Need plan (CIP Plan) or Child Protection Plan (CP Plan).
This is a minimum requirement. There may be additional expectations laid out in the child’s Plan and this may include unannounced visits.
